Description

The 6-bedroom, self-catering traditional Farmhouse with it’s private Eco Hot Tub is located on Riverview Country Park & set in tranquil countryside and edging the River Findhorn.

Eco-Hot Tub

Our Wood-fired Eco Hot Tub installed at the Farmhouse is hand crafted in the UK and is more efficient to run and far more sustainable over other types of hot tub. We look forward to our guests enjoying this facility to further enhance their stay. Whether you simply want a place to retreat or are keen to embrace the great outdoors we believe The Farmhouse holds the key to give you the freedom to do as you please.

The Space

This grand looking building, surrounded by some lovely Oak, and Pine trees and with a massive front lawn gives a sense of grandeur. The property is situated on a 35 acre Riverview Park with the River Findhorn close by.

As you enter the property through the solid double doors you are presented with a sweeping staircase that leads you up to four bedrooms consisting of one king size with en-suite, one double with an en-suite, one twin room, and another double rooms which are all well-appointed. On the ground floor there are two further double rooms, one off the lounge, and one at the other end which gives good wheel chair access to the building. For the bedrooms without en-suite there are bathroom facilities close by.

The Kitchen

The kitchen is well appointed with electric hob and oven, dishwasher, and plenty of work top prep area, leading off the kitchen lies the utility room with tumble dryer and washing machine.

Adjoining the kitchen is the main lounge area with super comfortable sofas and an electric feature fire for those cold nights, along with a dining room table to sit all your family or friends round this is a room that lends itself to be the hub of the Old Farmhouse for entertaining.

The Living Room

If you prefer just to snuggle down in front of the TV and watch a film, or read a good book, then head to the living room which is a little more intimate and looks out onto the sprawling front lawn where you might even catch a glance of a Red Squirrel, or a Roe Deer which can often be spotted in the area.

Depending on what your occasion, whether it be a family gathering, or a simple case of bringing all friends together the Old Farmhouse will be sure to meet your needs and keep you coming back for more.

Please note although there is WiFi connection this can be intermittent due to the rural location of the Farmhouse.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“The period Farmhouse is situated in the centre of a large privately run mobile home resort and is the ideal location for a large group to explore the Highlands. A lot of the major attractions and towns are within two hours or less of the the AirBnB.
The property itself has a great layout and lots of room for mixed groups to relax and find their own space. The rooms are all nicely finished and clean, and the Farmhouse also features a nice separation for two bedrooms if you have a family that needs to be next to each other closed off with it’s own private door.
Carol and the staff running the resort at the nearby office are great and super friendly, and it’s nice to know that the home is maintained promptly by a professional staff, including contractors for fixing any major issues should they arrive. The wood-fired hot tub is a nice touch too and my family had fun using it.” Clive

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“Unfortunately we couldn’t get there for the standard book-in time and were quite late arriving after a 315 mile drive. This didn’t seem to matter to Carol who had left the place open for us. We simply could not believe how fantastic the house was and how immaculate the park and its surroundings. It was also very quiet and I hope we didn’t disturb the other holiday makers and residents with our two boisterous barbecues! Inside we got way more than we’d expected in this beautiful property which far surpassed our expectations from previous outings elsewhere. As we packed up to leave this morning after four wonderful nights, our little tribe was unanimous in its praise of the accommodation. I hope our final tidying-up exercise was up to the required standard. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a first class self catering holiday with either a large family or small group of friends, it offers terrific value for money.” Terry
